COFCO Project Updates

Every now and then it’s good to take a step back and assess where you are in terms of progress towards your goals.

 This is true for both individuals and businesses.  We’ve been pretty busy lately and, as we take a look at what has been happening, we can’t help but feel excited about what we’ve got going on!

More and more clients with nationwide locations are appointing COFCO as their primary office furniture vendor both locally and nationally.  We’re working with these clients to create customized ‘Furniture Standards Programs’ to create consistent furniture specifications companywide.  This works in much the same way as design standards do for a corporate identity.  We then help our clients manage and implement the furniture standards efficiently, working closely with them and other involved partners such as architects and facility managers. In addition to building our business across the country, we’ve also been very successful in helping our long-time existing clients locally with new projects.

We thought we’d share a ’snapshot’ of some of our recent projects:

Penn Mutual Life Insurance

Conshohocken, PA and many of their locations nationwide.
Upon being awarded the Penn Mutual headquarters furniture bid in Conshohocken, PA, COFCO has since been established as Penn Mutual Life’s primary furniture vendor. We are proud to work with Penn Mutual on a daily basis to help with their day-to-day furniture requirements.

 

AmeriHealth Administrators Logo

Independence Blue Cross / AmeriHealth Administrators Philadelphia, PA
Against very competitive bidding, COFCO was awarded this high-profile Philadelphia project in late August, 2015 when AmeriHealth Administrators moved all of their operations into their headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.
The job consists of Allsteel workstations and National private offices, as well as ergonomic tools, workstation signage, ancillary furniture and Allsteel Beyond architectural wall product. Installation on this project is set to compete by the end of 2015.

Burlington Stores Burlington Stores
Florence Township, NJ

After a very competitive bid process, COFCO was awarded this high profile project. Burlington Stores built a brand new corporate headquarters campus which required us to create a full service plan including design, configuration, installation, as well as all furniture requirements. We worked closely with KSS Architects throughout the entire project.
The new campus incorporates a fresh, innovative workplace design for 900 employees including executive offices, gym, cafeteria and outdoor spaces. This project has been ongoing through 2015 with installation completion by the end of October, 2015.

Freedom Mortgage Freedom Mortgage
Mount Laurel, NJ
It’s very rewarding when we’re awarded a project that proves challenging and we have the opportunity to really demonstrate our strengths. Not only were we able to exceed Freedom Mortgage’s expectations with this project, but we were able to help them achieve their goal within budget.  A strong team effort, great communication, attention to detail and creativity resulted in COFCO being named the primary furniture vendor for many Freedom Mortgage locations across the country. We have also been tasked with of developing a furniture standard for the organization.
The first Freedom Mortgage project in New Jersey is slated to complete in December, 2015, but our work with them nationwide is ongoing.

QVC QVC
Studio Park
West Chester, PA
QVC has been a long-time COFCO client. We were excited to be given the opportunity to provide a solution for a new project that will modernize and revitalize the working environment at their Studio Park location and global headquarters.
QVC’s updated space will be designed to support collaboration and increase access to more natural light. This exciting project begins in October of 2015 and will complete some time in 2019.

Nemours duPont Nemours duPont Hospital for Children
Pediatric Outpatient Center

Deptford, NJ
COFCO works on day-to-day projects at Nemours duPont and we were excited when they once again chose to work with us on their latest project. We are supplying the bulk of the ancillary furniture and all of the desks and offices.  This exciting project will install in mid-2016.
